Xlope is an enticing running ball game that resembles the original Slope. The player directs the ball on the matrix floor covered with winding, tall, and even unexpected slides. The ball is to be managed as the main challenge, with the only purpose of suffering through as long as possible. It is an easy notion; however, it gets pretty addictive since the track never finishes, thus there is always a fresh opportunity to excel beyond the previous high score. The game's intensity rises, and every move counts. Just one small mistake will lead the ball to fall off the path, and the run is over immediately.

In Xlope, the player begins to roll automatically, and the route is laid out in front of him in a broad 3D space. As the player progresses, the road gets more limited and the pace escalates, thereby necessitating quicker reflexes. The player must shift the control left or right to remain on the platform and avoid dropping off. In this game, there are no opponents or weapons. The biggest difficulty lies in the track itself. The excitement is in making that perfect turn at the last moment and living to tell the tale longer than before. The player will want to restart the moment he crashes because the game is built around his personal best score. It is all about balance, timing, and precision.
