Created by PixelJam, Dino Jump is a pixelated-style jumping game inspired by the Chrome Dino game. Players take control of different dinosaurs, navigating through various prehistoric landscapes, aiming to stay alive as long as possible and earn the best scores possible. You start the game as a small dinosaur, using jumping skills to dodge obstacles on the ground, then transform into other dinosaur species like the flying Pterodactyl and Parasaur to continue the endless journey through changing environments. The objective is simple: dodge obstacles to continue the run for as long as you can and reach the highest score possible.
Jump, fly, and jump. Obstacles are everywhere; jump over them to help the Baby Rex keep running. Pay attention to small obstacles as well to ensure your dino doesn’t fall and end the run. Once you reach a score above 2,000, Baby Rex transforms into a flying pterodactyl; soar through the skies while dodging other pterodactyls to keep going. After a while, your dino evolves into a Parasaur and continues the run by avoiding even more complex obstacles.
Collect power-ups. Some power-ups that give you temporary shields are scattered along the way. Collect them to gain some edges in the game. Be sure that collecting them doesn’t put your dino at risk; otherwise, it’s better to skip them.
Stay focused as the game gets progressively challenging. Dino Jump throws more challenges at you the longer you survive: obstacles appear more frequently while the game speeds up gradually. Staying sharply focused is key as the difficulty ramps up.
