Vex Challenges, the new entry to the Vex series, is enveloped in gameplay where time is the major adversary. Moreover, the player has to beat time by collecting stars, going to the finish line, and racing with obstacles. There are 75 creatively made levels in all, and a secret Challenge Mode that is where all the fun goes on.
Vex Challenges gives the player the task of finishing stages before the time limit. The new change in the Vex series is that this time clock is of the countdown type, where every second is critical. The player will jump, slide, and go through the traps in their path, and at the same time, try to get three stars in every level for bonus points. The player will also be able to unlock new skins and a lively soundtrack that will be added to the player's progression as they get deeper into the game. The players need to be timed and precise because if they do not win before the timer runs out, their game is over, unless they are willing to watch an advertisement for a short period to prolong their time. Every one of the 75 levels has new traps and puzzles that challenge your reflexes and speed.
