Slope Gear is a game that lets you redirect a ball on a roller coaster ride of splendor through a combination of slopes in a steampunk universe. It is a sequel to the original Slope but introduces new graphics and novel designs that go along with a universe of gears. Players attempt to push the ball to the furthest distance without getting off the road, or smashing into obstacles, or losing control over acceleration.
Slope Gear utilizes the endless track style of play. The player does not have to push the ball, as it keeps moving forward automatically, but must react promptly to every corner and obstacle. Some slopes will drop suddenly, some will be inclined on one side, while others will have blocks right in your way. With each meter of travel, your score goes up. Slope Gear is a game of reflex and balance since keeping the ball on the track just requires very slight movement. The steampunk atmosphere brings about the use of gears, metal shapes, and artistic pipes that not only beautify the environments but also make the game different from the original Slope in terms of playing style.
