NY Rex is a surreal and mighty destruction game that lets gamers take command of a huge T Rex destroying New York City. Naturally, the dinosaur's actions should be such that they cause a lot of disturbances by annihilating buildings, eating people, and ripping cars while evading the military's efforts to cease the dinosaur's actions. Each successive level has a greater degree of difficulty, forcing the players to be extra fast in their reactions and to use their destructive power wisely in order to progress through the game.
In NY Rex, you are in charge of a dinosaur that is moving through the vibrant city streets, which are packed with different targets, obstructions, and enemies. The T Rex can perform a big jump over the barriers, crush the buildings, and attack anything that comes in its way. More police cars, military trucks, and armed helicopters show up as the levels get harder, and the player is forced to be more tactical in their moves. Points are awarded for obliterating stuff, and completing each mission gives access to the next level. There is no time to be bored since the combination of movement, timing, and aggression creates a thrilling experience throughout the course of the dinosaur's ruinous exploration of the city.
